Project type
Experiential Graphics, Wayfinding & Signage
Location
Tucson, Arizona
The University of Arizona’s Bioscience Research Laboratories in Tucson spans 163,381 SF and advances research in the molecular basis of human health. It houses laboratories, offices, and core research spaces. Designed to support cutting-edge discovery, the facility encourages interdisciplinary collaboration across scientific fields. Experiential graphics throughout the building draw from the double helix structure of DNA, using layered dot patterns to reflect scientific inquiry at both macro and micro scales. Color coded wayfinding, green to the south and blue to the north, guides movement through long corridors, while a natural palette in blues and greens fosters a calming, research focused environment.
