APPROACH
The StepStone Group New York office spans two floors within an existing Midtown tower, designed to align with the company’s recent rebrand while supporting a collaborative, client-facing workplace. The project called for an environmental graphics strategy that could embed identity into everyday spaces while maintaining a refined and consistent interior experience.

A strategy to develop a cohesive and brand-aligned environment guided the design approach. Centered on circular movement, the concept reflects both the architectural form and StepStone’s visual language. This idea is expressed through sculptural wire and metal installations, curved and lenticular walls, and custom acoustic panels, establishing a clear rhythm throughout the space. Key moments—including a suspended installation at the central stair and lenticular graphics that shift between subtle gradients and bold expression—introduce variation and visual interest. A palette of deep blue tones, natural wood, and preserved moss adds warmth and balance, supporting both focus and collaboration.

OUTCOME
The result is a refined workplace that strengthens identity while supporting collaboration and daily use. The graphics establish continuity across multiple floors and enhance spatial clarity, while sculptural elements bring movement and focus to key areas. The environment offers a sense of comfort and brand pride for visiting clients, creating an experience that is both distinctive and welcoming.
