Cedars-Sinai / Ventana Cancer Care Clinic

The Cedars-Sinai Ventana Cancer Clinic brings specialized oncology care to the heart of Tarzana, just north of Los Angeles. The design centers on calm, light-filled spaces that support healing, with color, materiality, and lighting fostering safety and tranquility. A living room–style waiting area anchors the clinic, with infusion, pharmacy, phlebotomy, consult, and clinical spaces radiating outward in an intuitive on-stage / off-stage layout. The sunlit infusion room features custom bays inspired by first-class seating, arranged in groups to promote togetherness. Warm lamps and lounge chairs along the windows create a hospitality-like environment, while a custom-designed wall graphic, evoking sunrise with dawning hues, integrates art and color into the patient experience. Throughout the clinical spaces and offices, custom gradient privacy glass film was developed to meet Cedars-Sinai’s exact preferences for daylight, transparency, and privacy, balancing openness with discretion across staff and patient areas.
