APPROACH
Cedars-Sinai South Campus 20th Floor Workplace in Los Angeles was developed as a new office environment that reflects Cedars-Sinai’s evolving identity while showcasing updated signage standards. The project required a branded workplace experience that could balance professionalism, innovation, and a strong connection to the organization’s broader presence across the region.

A strategy grounded in place, identity, and material expression shaped the design approach. Experiential graphics draw inspiration from the geography and energy of Los Angeles, beginning with a floor-to-ceiling regional map composed of acoustic panels, CNC cutting, and printed layers. Red acrylic markers highlight Cedars-Sinai project locations throughout the city, reinforcing scale and reach. Across from reception, a backlit perforated wood installation uses thousands of centrifuge tubes to evoke the glow of city lights while referencing healthcare and scientific research. Beyond the lobby, an abstracted map graphic applied to conference room glass provides both visual continuity and privacy, extending a cohesive language throughout the workplace.

OUTCOME
The result is a refined and memorable workplace environment that reinforces Cedars-Sinai’s identity while welcoming staff and visitors with a strong sense of place. The graphics program transforms functional areas into moments of storytelling and visual interest, helping the office feel connected to both the city and the institution’s mission. By blending craft, innovation, and regional references, the space fosters pride, professionalism, and a forward-looking workplace culture.
